People should always be in control of the future. OpenAI is against the notion that it would be acceptable for people to be relegated to a role of doing things that “AI systems think makes sense to reward in humans”. People should not cede control of the future to superintelligence, and that requirement should ultimately constrain AI progress.

As AI becomes more capable at finding vulnerabilities, defenders need to put it to work before attackers do. We’re planning our next internal security sprint at OpenAI and partnering with Cathedral Systems, whose researchers will use our models alongside our teams to challenge our defenses. They’ll bring differentiated expertise and approaches to our ongoing work to find and fix weaknesses with AI. We’re also raising bug bounty rewards, including more than quadrupling rewards for critical findings. Exceptional findings will be eligible for up to $172,000, including bonuses. We’ll keep advancing our models, using them to strengthen our own systems, and expanding access for trusted defenders. https://t.co/vcaoHROTt2

This is for freelancers and anyone doing creative work. This gives you an agent that takes care of a ton of the work we have to do every day: 1. It drafts proposals for clients 2. It generates tasks from a project description 3. It schedules those tasks around commitments 4. It keeps clients updated on progress 5. It prepares invoices 6. It prepares time logs based on tasks and activity

Specialized Models >> Larger Models. This is an open-source platform that will help you choose and run specialized models in your applications. Basically, you can set up which models you want to serve specific tasks. For example, if your agent needs to classify a message, read text on an image, search files, and write a response, you could have 4 different models to serve each of these tasks.

This is a shared memory service where you can connect multiple agents and AI tools to reuse knowledge. For example, you can save information using Codex and retrieve it through Claude Code. Two scenarios where this is very helpful: • To keep a portable knowledge base not tied to any agent. • To have the flexibility of using multiple agents without duplicating the knowledge.

Soniox just realeased their latest speech-to-text model for voice agents, dictation, and meeting tools. But there's something really cool about it: Developers can send the model the audio they want to transcribe, along with the text of what the agent said to prompt that response. Pretty clever idea. The model can use that context to better recognize the user's reply and filter out the agent's own voice if the microphone picks it up.
