历史上 .dev 被 Google 买下后强制 HTTPS 的前车之鉴还在，但 .lan 的问题更底层——它不是网站域名，而是打印机、NAS、路由器、内部 API 的寻址基础。迁移成本比 .dev 高两个数量级，而且很多嵌入式设备根本无法修改。

That's nice and all, but OpenWrt (and its use of .lan) predates this particular RFC by a rough 14 years. I hope the gTLD application gets struck down.
